We all need to face the hard truth that our businesses have changed. If we want customers to come back as quickly as possible, we have to adapt!
How can we help each other? Start by sharing ideas. There is no winner-take-all in this situation. We all win or we all lose, so, let’s work together. Let’s cross pollinate and share ideas – no matter how crazy they seem. It may be useful for someone.
| We are committed to being great partners to our customers. To that end, here are some ideas to consider: Social distance dining. Find a way to get more outside dining. Tailgate dining, get landlord approval to build a patio in the parking lot or walkways. Spread out guests Develop an app for customers to use to order meals and pay the bill right from their phones. Renegotiate lease rates with landlords. They need you as much as you need them! Disinfect tables and chairs between seatings and advertise that fact on the table! Customers will want to know you are taking precautions. Give away free toilet paper with each to-go order (believe it or not…this works!). People are drinking more than ever. Make sure you are offering drinks to go For hotels: Set up dining in different areas of the hotel. Repurpose rooms into intimate private dinning rooms for small parties. |
